Minne katosi päivät?!

Summer break from blog..LONG TIME NO SEE!
Nothing has happened, yet everything has happened.
Awesome summer, and it still continues. I have TWO more days at Lidl Ylöjärvi. WTF never thought this day would come??!! :D And then 4 days of holidays and then a la escuela!
I have worked pretty much everyday hundred hours a day. Everyday I thought that I wouldn't see the next day, but somehow I survived all that! haha. Mostly cause of my workbuds. They are sooo nice! And a night out with them....well lets just say it was so random, but I enjoyed every second of it. ;) especially "we shared a moment that will last til the end" part. The "morning" after wasn't as pleasant. But THREE checks for our summer bingo :D
Summer bingo consists of 25 summery things you try to do during July 25th-August 25th (f ex. go to a beach, eat an ice cream at the downtown, swim naked, kiss a boy behind a fence, spend a beautiful day at work, wake up from a weird place...) We are cool kids =))
One tour to Pori, a tour to eastern finland, little trip to the summer house and all other memories from this summer taste sweet and young and are full of excitment and adventure! I love the things we do!

America was pretty legit! I got good memories and some tan to take with me :) I think it was the perfect vaca: I was with some good friends, I got to shop at my fav stores, it was HOT, I spent relaxing time at the pool and the lake and did all fun things!!
On top of that holiday I brought the heat with me to Finland and the weather is perfecttt! High 70's and no rain! So even tho I'm working, back at the lovely grocery store, I still feel like my vacation continues.
I love my friends, we have already done some adventuring: ski jumping, lake, 4th of July picnic with the official shoes me and Soph made, and a lovely summer house. Plus some snogging at a snogginghill ;D I also met Cheshire cat yesterday :)) AND HE IS GOING TO BE MY TUTOR NEXT YEAR SINCE I GOT INTO THAT UNI I REALLY WANTED TO GO ♥ My life seems perfect at the moment!

ps I can't get used to the light again, my body doesn't wanna go to bed before like 1 or 2 am cause it's not dark enough :o

This could be one of those memories

So here is a good story I wanted to share from Monday-Tusday: I arrive to Charlotte-Douglas airport at 12.30 pm. I had flight to Helsinki via Washington D.C and Copenhagen. So I go thru the security and all that and wait for an hour and half til the boarding. Just when they're starting it they announce that the flight to D.C is delayed cause of t-storms up there. My connection to Copenhagen would be delayed too and I wouldn't catch my final plane. So I go to the desk and they try to find me a connection to Hki. But apparently UnitedAir. couldn't do anything cause I purchased the ticket from Scandinavian Airlines. So they try calling SAS. Nothing. They tell me that I have to go to D.C and deal with SAS over there. I was ok with that plan, but they still tried calling them. While all of this is going on I chat with the Panthers coach John Fox(!!!!) and take pics of him and the desklady...weird. Anyways finally after good solid 30 mins they get me a flight to Hki via Frankfurt. So I sprint all the way from terminal A to terminal D and go to US air. disk and they are like "Umm you're not on this flight, we don't have your info" even tho I had a ticket in my hand. Well after another 20 mins they get me in there. At this point I was pretty sure that either my luggage would end up somewhere like in China or the t-storms would reach Charlotte. I get into the plane finally at like 5 pm and sit down and think "Is this some sick joke or something, Im pretty short and my legs can't fit" No. It was not a joke. And the lady next to me would not stop talking, so I had to pretend I was sleeping like the whole 8 hours. She was an English teacher from SC and at one point she asked me if I grew up speaking English...I was like "UMMMMM WHAT ARE YOU LIKE DEAF, can't you hear my retarded accent???" Also I was freezing the whole time even with my sweats on. Well at least the meal was decent (WTF?) and we had brownies for dessert!! AND I got the aisle. YAY! But no cute boys..I put that make up on for no reason :( In Frankfurt I'm pretty sure I walked about 2 miles on flipflops just to get to my gate. Lovely. Then I finally arrive Hki 2 hours later than I should have, and I go wait for my luggage. No luggage. yay for me! So all of my stuff is somewhere there just traveling around. And this is not even the end of the story. My friends are there and they are pretty pissed, not of me being late but cause my friend's roommate stole her keyes. So they had to go to Police and like everywhere. Then we got lost in Hki and ended up going to a beach. The weather was actually nice..or it would have been if it hadn't been for the freaking arctic breeze. So I stayed in my sweats while the rest of the finnish population was wearing practically nothing. And finally when it was like 10 pm on Tuesday I got back home! And I'm speaking Finnish with a weird intonation. lol.

I have absolutely NO time for anything right now. My days follow the same path every day: I wake up and go to work at 8. I usually come home 2ish 3ish unless I have errands. I study for few hours, then go to school for few hours and then I see people aka Valtteri, and go to bed about at midnight. But it's ok =) I just hate that I have no time for anykind of physical activity :s But heyyy just one more month and it's all over! :))

Vappu aka May Day. At school I was dressed as a mechanic, people didn't recognize me :D Then homemade 'donuts' and Cheshire cat's and their commune's housewarming party. RATHER WILD night :D but so much fun. Incabable of walking the rokkalansuora, so facebook's prediction came true! :)))

Last week we got some spring weather but also snow, a fashion show, soccer 'practice'. All is well at Maahisentaival! =) cheers.

Dear Finland, STOP SNOWING! k? Sick and tired of the cold weather...



The other day one Cuban guy tried to pick up me :o : D He was doing his practical training at our school and he got very excited while I started speaking español with him. holy lord he was slimy. But luckily I got out of that situation and that was his last day there!

That reminded me that we did a personality test at the spanish class this week. My result was "El siete es el aventurero, el optimista, el que quiere disfrutar. Es enérgico y divertido y encantador y espontáneo. Es original y creativo. Es cabaz de dar alegría. I think that's really close, there should also be that I'm lazy and I have a need to be good at everything :DDD.
